After School Clubs

After School Clubs provide fun and constructive activities for middle school students in a safe, supervised setting after school. Students choose from a variety of clubs led by teachers, After School Club staff, and community partners.  After School Clubs in Otoe County are provided through a partnership between Partners for Otoe County and the local school districts.

Locations and Times

Before and After School Clubs are offered at the Nebraska City Middle School from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. and 3:50 to 5:00 p.m. each day school is in session.   All middle school students are welcome to register for a single club, several clubs, or every day.  Funding for the program at Nebraska City Middle School is provided by a 21st Century Learning Grant to Nebraska City Public Schools.  For more information, contact Nebraska City Middle School at 402.873.5591.

After School Clubs are offered at Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca Middle School from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.  Mondays through Thursdays each day school is in session.  Students may register for one to four clubs each week. The options are flexible to meet individual student interests and family needs.   Funding for the program is provided by grants from the Nebraska Crime Commission and the United Way of Nebraska City.
